The Center for Entrepreneurship Advisory Board
The Center for Entrepreneurship (CFE) Advisory Board consists of members from key constituencies of the national entrepreneurial community. The Advisory Board is a critical part of the CFE and provides guidance and oversight of all CFE activities. It provides both strategic and tactical input. The Board is also actively involved in CFE fundraising activities.
The Board consists of 18 members and is chaired by a board member on a rotating basis. It consists of four subcommittees specifically focused on the CFE core activities: Academics, Venture Acceleration, Community Outreach and Fundraising. Chairs of these subcommittees, together with the board chairs form an Executive Committee of the CFE Advisory Board.
The Board meets two times a year (typically, May and November). Board meetings include an overview of all activities and update of all CFE performance metrics. The meetings also focus on key activities and important decisions that require broader input. Typically, each board member is appointed for a duration of three years, with the possibility of a re-appointment for one additional term.
