U-M Business Accelerator (TechArb) Co-Location
Overview
The U-M Business Accelerator facility offers co-location office space for early stage companies that are affiliated with the University of Michigan. Early stage companies can apply to gain access to this space if they are designing new technology, have an idea for a product or service, or have identified a market need but are not sure if a business can be created around it.
This application process of the Co-Location facility is managed by the Center for Entrepreneurship in conjunction with the Zell Lurie Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies and an advisory board made up of community leaders and professional investors.
Application
The program is available to any incorporated entity (LLC, c-corp, etc.) that has a relationship with the University of Michigan. To apply to this program, an applicant needs to write a three-page idea proposal that answers questions on >> this application (PDF file) <<. Applicants should convert the application to a .pdf and submit it with the resumes of the company principals to >> accelerate@umich.edu << by 8am on the due date listed below to be eligible for the co-location period specified:

Deliverable
Once an application is approved, the company will be scheduled for an orientation meeting where they will be given access to the U-M Business Accelerator facility after reviewing and accepting the terms of occupancy presented during the orientation session.
