Frankel Commercialization Fund

The Frankel Commercialization Fund (FCF) is a pre-seed investment fund established to identify and accelerate the commercialization of ideas generated within the University community and the surrounding area. The team adopts a hands-on approach to investing that leverages the talents and resources available at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan to make a real impact for the entrepreneur and the University.

Ann Arbor Angels

The Ann Arbor Angels is a membership organization of Angel investors that invest in the greater Ann Arbor, Michigan area. A2A members look for companies that can achieve rapid growth in large markets. Some of our criteria include:
  • Scale: annual revenue potential of at least $50 million
  • Market: a compelling, well articulated strategy for capturing and defending a significant market share
  • Barriers to entry: patents or proprietary technology
  • Team: a strong, not necessarily complete, team
  • Exit strategy: some idea of who will eventually acquire your company
  • How we fit: a desire for advice and coaching

    Wolverine Venture Fund

    The Wolverine Venture Fund (WVF) is a multi-million dollar venture capital fund operated directly out of the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, enabling entrepreneurs to realize their business dreams. The Fund invests with the active involvement of MBA students, faculty assistance, and an advisory board composed of professional venture capitalists and entrepreneurs. The WVF is the largest, most active University-based venture fund of its type in the country. The Fund's contributions have been featured in numerous professional publications, including Business Week.
